I've heard rumors on the street that candidates who were flying for a WO and left are being blacklisted for three years before getting an interview at AA. Basically, discouraging folks from jumping the flow. Anyone know if that is a true statement? I'm sure it'd be an internal measure to AA and one they don't admit to. But I'm curious if anyone else is having issues getting interviews due to this.
For example, I was at PSA just over two years ago for 6 months. I left when offered a FO position flying widebody international that I had applied to previously. I'm now applying to AA after two yea ..read more

A flight attendant tapes a phone in the first class lav to collect videos of children peeing. The FA is getting prosecuted for the felony. American Airlines claims manager responds to the parents with this. Read the fifth affirmative defense. Maybe it is my nature as a father, but dammit, I'd be calling for the CEO's head over this kind of disrespect to the family after AA's premises were set up by an employee for the creation and distribution of child pee porn.

Hello All,
Let me start off by saying I'm extremely grateful for my job and what they provide for my family. That being said I wanted to see yall's view of possibly applying to AA. I know that doesnt mean a guranteed interview or CJO. I dont know anyone who has left my company for AA, just other carriers. I'm 31 and live in DFW. The idea of not commuting for the next 34 years is probably the most appealling to me followed by not flying all nights now. I wanted to gather some AA pilot's thoughts from personal experiance or from pilots yall have flown with.
Thanks ..read more

Any effects or cost saving measures that you guys are seeing at the mainline after the poor Q1 results? It's all conjecture, but some at the regional level are thinking that's why ATP/CTP is no longer being funded at Envoy, and potentially why Orientation has gone by the wayside as well ..read more

Good morning all. I created an application and the ATP number, first and last name will not let me enter any information. I created another one with my military email but will retire in a few months and with the snail pace of the hiring process, I need to create one with my civilian email. Is there a way to delete these apps and start over? Thanks in advance ..read more
