I don't know why these elements look like this. I already cheked normals, rebuild triangulation, I have deleted the whole geometry and rebuild and still it shows like that. Hello, I know Vray, but not Vantage and have some questions: 1.) Which are all the current limitations in comparison to vray? Is tyflow render supported? Are certain materials, nodes or lights not supported? I can read from the "new update" announcements that some crucial features were only added recently (such as UDIM, blend material, displacement etc.) -> It's always important to know all stuff that isn't supported before setting up a project. 2.) Installed this morning, testing on several recent projects. Stable using RTX, production render, progressive. Rhino 8.7 (thanks for the updated Vray icons, much easier to see with Rhino dark mode). Tested "GPU system memory for textures". Full size textures Files with few textures, no reduction in GPU VRAM. They rendered about 1% faster Files with a lot of textures, 15-20% reduction in VRAM. About 1% slower rendering. Files with few textures & large number of lights, GOBO's, dome, etc no reduction in VRAM. Rendered about 1-2% slower. Hi, I updated latest vray to rhino and latest nvidia driver.(tried both studio and game ready) If i render CPu ..it works.. But as soon i pick GPU Rhino/vray..start the render but in the "status nvidia driver" it crashes and closes vray and Rhino. I have a scene I'm working on that takes 40 seconds to render normally, but when I turn on motion blur on the physical camera, the render nearly gets stuck on "Updating Instances". I let it go and after 30 minutes I gave up. I have the same objects in a different file with motion blur and I don't have that problem. I've searched but haven't found a solution. I restarted max and I have no displacement modifier in the scene. I'm using Max 2019 with the vray_adv_62007_max2019_x64 nightly stable build. Does anyone else have this issue ..read more
