I'm going to keep this simple. How the heck do I remove spiders in a safe way? I thought about diluted essential oils, but everywhere I read said that this was not safe. One way that everyone seemed to agree was safe, was diatomaceous earth, as long as they didn't breathe any in. My room is infested with them, and it is the residence of my chins. My chinchilla died. He was 15 years old but appeared healthy and not in distress prior to finding him dead. As I was looking him over to see if there were signs of injury or any clues about what happened, I found this sticking out of his penis. Can anyone explain what this is? One of them (Milky) weights already 77g, while the other, smaller one (Lemon) only has 52g on the scale.
