Hello, I had ordered a USB to Lan adapter from TP link (https://tinyurl.com/kptfvtrp) which used to work perfectly fine around 6-8 months ago in Ubuntu Server 20.04 running Raspberry PI 4B (4GB RAM) and I recently tried to connect it to same hardware and OS and it fails to show the interface. Tengo varios sistemas linux que mediante el soporte del protocolo IPX en el kernel mas NCPFS y Dosemu, puedo conectarme a estos servers y correr las aplicaciones alojadas el ellos. I'm using Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 LTS on a Lenovo Thinkpad with all the defaults wrt networking. Today I noticed that the network interface and mac address I get when connecting my laptop to a USB-C display with some integrated ports/docking, at my work desk, which has a wired ethernet connection, has changed. My laptop doesn't have any Ethernet port, so the NIC is for the display at my desk. It used to be enp121s0 and mac address ending in 90:1f:a0, but now I get enxa84a63910179 and mac address ending in 91:01:79. I cannot get wireless cards to come up on Ubuntu Server 24.04. This is with both Atheros and Intel. They appear to work on Kubuntu. The card seems to be fully detected, but just won't come up. It doesn't seem to even connect to the wireless router. Cards seem to work on Kubuntu I've seen a number of threads that aren't useful (mostly on StackExchange sites), as they are a decade or more old, and reference long-deprecated methods. Hey all, I have a few linux desktops I play with and a ubuntu server. One of my desktops is a Zorin system, ( its a ubuntu clone). I think based on 22.
