I am looking for advice on a project. I am doing a truck, approx weight 3500lbs, which will run an LS engine and an 8 speed auto. Right now the truck is at a shop having a custom frame built for it. I've narrowed what I want down to either a turbocharged 4.8L or an NA LS3. I'm curious how everyone else has this setup. Right now I have a chiseled combo tank that is roughly 7 gallon water and 5 gallon fuel with the rule3700 pump. My lines run from my tank to the pt3000 intercooler and then to the engine. In the return line I have a shutoff valve. I close this valve until the engine gets some temp in it. What I've learned is once the engine starts to warm up the ice will melt fast. Which has to hurt the efficiency of keeping the intercooler cold. Also...
