Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Darien Funeral Home.

County Commission Special Called Meeting May 29
McIntosh County Commissioners will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the David Bluestein Meeting Room at Darien City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment at a public hearing on the pending alcohol license for beer, wine and liquor consumption on premises by Tony Thaw at 2337 E. West Autobahn Road, Sapelo Island.

Timothy Samuel McSwain, 64, of Harris Neck, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 23, 2024, under the care of his family and Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Born in Fernandina Beach, FL, he lived in McIntosh County most of his life. He was retired from Altama Delta Manufacturing and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, even bagging a 15-point buck for his trophy wall. He also enjoyed working in his yard and gardening and was a member of Townsend Church of God. Brunswick man dies from injuries in single-car accident
Joshua Morris Relevant, 36, of Brunswick, succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital Thursday evening, May 23, following a single car accident in The Ridge.
