Greetings, I have a 1994 (yes it's old) Dimension One Quadra Hot Tub. Recently, the heating element stays on and the tub gets too hot. We had some binding of the temperature dial on the upper control panel, and now it turns very freely. I think the dial/variable resistor (?) may have failed. This tub has two temperature sensors; one for the tub and one for freeze protection which is attached to the heater tube. With the water at 97F, the tub sensor reads 19.4 Kohms and the other reads... Hey there, first time pool and spa owner. The pool is looking great and the levels are all good. The Spa is connected to the pool with a small overflow channel, the pool and spa water look exactly the same when in pool mode. Hello all. I need your advice. My pool tech had to replace my back flow valve on the SPA return and to make his job a bit easier, he changed my pipe from going straight down into the ground from diverter valve, into a four 90 degree turns detour. The two-speed pump on my 1993 Sundance spa only hums when started (on low), but will start if bumped to high speed. I'm guessing the starter capacitor is bad. But where is it? I had the motor replaced maybe 15 years ago with a refurbished one. I have a Balboa BP7 that is connected to two pumps. 1 pump runs the filter and the other runs the jets. The jets turn off after 15 minutes max. Is there a way to get it to run 30 to 45 minutes without turning off. It is a Haywood pump. Any advise would be appreciated ..read more

Good Morning fine folks... My wife and I just purchased a new Spa (Master Spa Twilight 8.25). In an attempt to keep this brief, the spa comes with an Ozone, which I have read that Ozone breaks down chlorine. I am struggling keep chlorine in the tub, as the ozone always breaks it down to .5 or less. So there are times where the tub is running down to 0 which has caused slightly cloudy water at times. I'm looking for some advice. We have an old 1996 Sundance spa that's in our basement--clearly it was installed as they built the house, so it's impossible to get out without sawing it up. And there's no way a replacement spa can be brought back in to replace it. So the spa stopped working 8 months ago.
