Suspect in officer’s killing dies in prison cell

The man accused of killing Richmond K-9 Officer Seara Burton died June 6 in his prison cell. Pendleton Correctional Facility staff found Phillip Matthew Lee, 48, unresponsive in his cell about 12:46 a.m., according to an Indiana State Police news release.
