Anyone know of active project working on supporting new crop of ARM laptops? In particular, the new line up of MS Copilot ARM laptops.

The new NVIDIA beta drivers are out and they finally make using Wayland not horrible, so I figured I’d try a fresh install of F40 and manually install them.
Upon rebooting and re-enabling the UI/GDM, I’ve noticed there’s no option to log into a Wayland session anymore and it only boots into X11.
What can I do to re-enable Wayland?

I migrated over to Fedora yesterday (with KDE Plasma) and so far really love it.
The only negatives have been Wayland-related: things that were easy to configure with X11 like remote desktop access and ... screen brightness control, which I previously managed with redshift.
It seems that getting brightness to work in Wayland is a lot trickier. So far, I haven't had success getting ddcutil to work.
Are there any tools that work reliably well for this? Or even simulated brightness control through gamma ramp adjusting?
ETA: I should have clarified that I'm using a desktop with external monitors ..read more

Today I saw the notification that fedora had updates available and my version was outdated. So I download the updates from de discovery app. After it finished it throw an error of something that couldn't download but I didn't looked it up. I rebooted the system, it launched the system update screen, it finished updating and then rebooted.
After rebooted it appeared a screen that says : [!!] This OS version (Fedora Linux 38 (KDE Plasma) dracut-059-5.fc38 (Initra mfs)) is past its end-of-support date (2024-05-14)
I don't really understand why it updated itself but keeps in the old version ..read more

After the antitrust probe years ago on Microsoft including free Explorer with Windows I can't believe there still hasn't been one about Microsoft forcing you to buy PCs with paid Windows preinstalled. Anybody know of a Snapdragon X Elite laptop coming that doesn't come with this garbage? #MicrosoftTax

Hi there,
I just installed the latest system updates (so no major upgrade, just smaller updates...) and all of a sudden my trackpoint on my ThinkPad Z13 stopped working. I already tried disabling and reenabling in the mouse settings but this didn't help.
Are there any suggestions about what else I could do?
Thank you!
UPDATE: The problem solved itself after a reboot into the current live-Fedora. I don't know what the hickup was as I rebooted once before, but I'm fine with it working again...
