Please help me choose,
I'm torn between a Les Paul Special 2004 in good condition for its age, or a 2015 100th anniversary edition in mint condition. Both the same cherry colour with p90s. The 2004 has 2 vol & 2 tone, 2015 has 1 vol & 1 tone.
They both cost about the same. I'm more drawn to the 2004. I know the 2015 anniversay editions get a lot of bad press. Is 2004 a 'good' year?
Any thoughts?

New one. A rare 1992 Orville by Gibson Les Paul, this top is extremely rare, ebony fret board, mother of pearl inlays, the whole shabang! The best custom I have ever played, it feels heavy and chunky we. Probably my favourite now, honestly I couldn’t be happier!! These are the best kept secret regarding Gibsons I recommend you get one - you won’t regret it, I have a 1996 “Orville” as well and it is amazing… 2 piece maple top, 3 piece back, it’s very cool and I wanted to share. The pickups are made in the U.S.A by Gibson and boy do they sound AMAZING.

These are manufacturing scratches/markings? Normal for others? Thank you.

I have a chance to buy one of two mid 70s s-jumbos. A friend of a friend has two that he's selling when he's back home end of June (no way to communicate with him till then). I've only ever played a 50s model that someone I knew owned.
Does anyone have experience and knowledge of these ones? One is a 77 I know. What is the major reason they are so much cheaper than a 50s or 60s? Is the build quality that much different, are they using plastic bridges or something? Just curious

Not the most popular Les Paul, but I love the style, feel, and sounds of the new Modern Studio. I got it for a great price of $1,450 brand new.
Proud to have both historic and modern Gibsons in my collection ??
