Well, I leave you some photos of the junk that just arrived, I have finally been able to get hold of one of these chassis...: As you can see, it is not new, it comes from Germany, RTR with the GT5 and everything, As you can see, it is not new, it comes from Germany, RTR with the GT5 and everything, here is the Instagram of its maker: https://www.instagram.com/bo_scale_rc/ Well, I have already changed the wheels, for ones with less offset and, for my taste, less exaggerated, I like it with both, but I always thought of an LC80 with these and so it has some of my touch: and here th ..read more

I couldn't let it escape, with that decoration it reminded me so much of him...: and this is what I received, this afternoon I will start with it, cleaning the inside with ultrasonics, regreasing, 2-3mm more wheelbase, 8274 winch and new fusion 1800 electronics and 45kg SRT servo It is already checked and oiled, the truth is that it came in excellent condition, a great seller. And after trying things, it definitely stays with that electronics, I thought it was a weaker servo but no, it's good enough. The 8274 winch could perhaps make room for it but it is very tight on its bum ..read more

Hello everyone! I have a Double E Land Rover Defender E101-003 1/8 with a broken front axle. The left drive shaft broke and after lot of searching I got two GPM-drive shafts for the Crawler King, they where just a little bit short but fitted in the "diff" after some filing. Now the diff-spool (plastic) broke. Can anyone please give a tip for some replacement axles? Best Regards /Mikael Attached Thumbnails Views: N/A Views: N/A Views: N/A ..read more

Problem with Traxxas TRX 6 Radio / Speed controller

Hi I was driving my TRX 6 the other day when it just stopped. I initially thought it was the low battery safety that activated. But after I charged the battery the speed controller would not activate, the only thing that "works" is holding the on/off button in all the time. Then the servos work, but not the speed. Immediately when I release the on/off button, it dies. Does anybody have a clue what the problem is, I have tested with two different batteries, checked all connections for moisture etc. Everything seems okay, except from the obvious problem. See YouTube video: https://www.youtub ..read more

Hi all... Little about myself to give everyone background: I originally started in to RC cars over 30 years ago with my dad's Tamiya Frog, before getting my own Tamiya Falcon. (The Team Associated RC10 was the hot item at the time, but the Falcon was what my dad got me for a birthday present) I drove that sucker until I broke the chassis and couldn't get a replacement, since the Falcon had been discontinued, and the car was sentenced to the trash heap in the sky. Fast forward to about 7 or 8 years ago, and my father once again started into RC - this time being airplanes, which seemed prett ..read more

FCX24 K5 Blazer

Seeing that the new K5 Blazer looked close to the 1/18 K10 pickup, I checked the mfgs specs. for a 1976 K5. And it matches 1/18 scale, almost perfectly. I have a early "first generation" FMS K10, and I am impressed with the improvements FMS has made in the new trucks. Only negative, is having to take the body OFF, to access the battery. It's a delicate, pain in the B__tt to remove, and then reinstall the body, and be carefull of the wiring to the headlights. Other than the R&R of the body, its a great truck.:) For over 25 years, I had a a first gen Blazer 4x4, 350cid 4-barrel. No shorta ..read more

This was a very long project. So long that the first hosted pics were lost when photobucket went down.. I'll start at the middle, when I've already had a scratchbuilt cab and bed on a custom chassis and scx10 axles. But I wanted portal axles and before TRX-4 make them mainstream, you had to make them somehow. I've made them by hacking scx10 axles and designing 3D printed portal boxes With portals done, truck rose 15mm so a new chassis was needed. Tried to do a replica: Looked out of scale, made of 16mm tubing but the 1:1 blueprints showed 17cm frame rails so it will work out ..read more
