…But not sorry. This car was done for a friend who is seriously obsessed with the Lola GT. RaysLolaGT_01.jpg The chassis is original cleaned up. Guide is original. Wheels and axles are original cleaned and polished. Inserts are original, sanded down, de-chromed and painted. Motor is original cleaned and lubricated. It runs quite well. Gears are COX. Tires are Paul Gage urethane reproduction for this car. Decals are Pattos. The body and glass were mild glue bombs. The glass needed much sanding and polishing. RaysLolaGT_02.jpg RaysLolaGT_03.jpg RaysLolaGT_04.jpg RaysLolaGT_05.jpg RaysLolaGT_ ..read more

1/32 National Organization?

I've recently gotten back into 1/32 after a 15 year hiatus focusing on H.O. racing. The Greater Boston Race Club 32 has been formed and we are currently racing a few classes that were created based on what we have seen other groups post about. I've been looking around at other clubs in New England and I don't see much, if any consistency in classes of cars being raced. In H.O. we have a national organization (HOPRA) that publishes rules for a set of classes. Most regional clubs utilize these rules for the majority of classes they run. From a T-Jet prospective, many groups follow the class rule ..read more

Wiring in "FUSES" for your Regulated Power Supplies

Hello all The "Voltage settings for different classes?" thread is very informative and to the point. I have a question for those who have a Regulated Power Source for their tracks. Have you installed some sort of protective fuse system? If so, can you post photos of the wiring and also a diagram of how you wired the fuse in? This is a next step for me to protect against metal items placed across the rails, wrong controller hookups, etc. I am not looking for suggestions of different type of plugs to hook up the controllers. I'm looking for basic wiring schematics of how you did it. Thanks ..read more

Voltage settings for different classes?

This would be primarily directed to those running clubs with multiple classes of cars (although anyone is welcome to weigh in): Assuming you have a variable power system for your track(s) do you use differing voltage levels for different classes of cars/chassis? And if so, are you informing your members AHEAD of a race meeting? IF you run one voltage level, do your members/invitees know that voltage ahead of time? And, what is the highest/ lowest voltage settings does your club/association use? There is no "hidden agenda" here; I am curious about this, because I run ALL my cars at home using ..read more

TOMY AFX Pinion Question

I’ve noticed over the years that whenever a TOMY Super G+ chassis has vibration, it’s almost always that the pinion gear has gone out of round. I’ll change the pinion and it smooths out. Even happens on cars with little run time. Wondering what causes that ..read more
