hi thought I'd show my current camping setup. Three sectioned platform that sits in the trunk, so full access to the backseats when in non-sleep mode. 10in of space in the trunk below the platform. Recently purchased the D-Hive SUV Mattress, slept great for the two nights tested (it fits inside fairly good). Future purchases: probably an awning and maybe a rooftop cargo box. Highly recommend the electric fridge + powerbank route for food storage, i hate dealing with melted ice lol. Feel free... My Camping Setup: Raised Sleeping Platform & Inflatable Mattress ..read more

Just recently purchased my 2021 Bronco sport Big Bend and stopped in my tracks when I tried to load my kayaks. There were no crossbars . Why would ford overlook this important feature on their Broncos for outdoor activity’s ? I’ve ordered crossbars from Amazon but is this a bad idea when you have a sunroof ? I also wanted to install nudge bars but mechanic does not recommend it because it might affect the censors ..read more

What’s up Sportsters! Just did a run this last weekend up in the high desert from Dayton to Carson City, NV. Thanks Rusty from Bay Area Broncos FB group admin for sharing the Gaia GPS map. I used that as my “main” road and explored off that. The area is called Pine Nut Mountains - located in the Carson City BLM. Recommend you start behind Dayton HS , it’s rocky road all the way up the mountain , there’s some hills and dry pond area to explore as you head towards the old mining camp. From... My brother and I arrived at Uwharrie on 4/12, for a 3 day weekend camping trip. Our interest in this area reached a peak last year, after watching many video's, including Ben's, from @HRG Offroad and some others that covered the 2023 AWD Fest. After our initial plan fell through, which was a group ride, with a largely D.C. area off-road group, because they were uncomfortable with us joining them because my BS doesn't have a low Range or a traditional rear locker. We... Uwharrie N.F. Trail/Trip Report ..read more

Exploring Moab in the Bronco Sport

Took the family down to Moab and got to try out the new awning for lunch at the top of a fun canyon. I’m about a month into having my Bronco and if I could sum the whole experience up in one word it’d be EFFORTLESS…The adaptive cruise and road specific modes made the 3 hour drive so comfortable and then transitioning to off road, I aired down and again, just soaked up the varied terrain and was so confidence inspiring…this thing is fantastic. Badlands Car Camp Rig (Inspired Overland RTT)

Hey everyone, I know some here had asked for some pictures of the Inspired Overland RTT mounted on the BS so figured I’d give a glimpse into that along with what else I have in the rig. Everything here works for basic car camping and some light overlanding. The RTT is mounted to the Thule cross bar kit bought direct from Ford. After receiving the tent, I could make the one style of mounting brackets work but ultimately decided to order the 3.5” mounts from IO for a better fit (the tent...
