G'day,
I recently bought a car with a tjm 5.5 horsepower 9,000lb winch installed, but the guy had lost the hand control.
the winch is up to ten years old and definitely isn't a TORQ winch. the part number for the hand control is 946MOXTOGCON.
if anyone has an old control I'd be happy to buy it, or if you know how to get hold of one I'd appreciate the info.

hello everyone,
I'm a young bloke from Queensland, and have recently bought my first car, a 2012 Nissan navara d40 with a few mods already installed.
I've never been 4wdriving before but I'm into camping and nature and have a mate who loves everything to do with 4x4s.
Looking forward to finding out more about 4wdriving ..read more

it must be a legit four wheel drive, it has turbo and a centre diff lock and everything.
So far the only mods are a dash cam, toll tag, 89000km and some bird crap on the bonnet.
I was thinking of some mods to give it some more street cred, like a light bar on the roof, more AT tyres and a lift. The only off the shelf lifted springs I can find claim to give it a whopping 20mm increase in ride height, yes, you read it correctly, 20mm. They also want $200/corner for springs that...

Hi all,
Newb. I'm a long time owner of a 79 series from new - bought 2016.
It has been a reliable beast as expected, until last night when it went into limp mode.
Codes thrown up include:
P0045- turbo boost control solenoid
P0100 - Mass air flow circuit
P0488 - EGR throttle control circuit
P062E - Fuel injector driver
P20CD - Exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector
P213B - EGR Throttle control circuit
P245C - EGR cooler bypass control circuit
It's been suggested that it's damaged wiring or...

I have a property that has no elec power. I need to buy a generator. I gather some can be very heavy and difficult to move around. Then I had an idea. If I had an old 4WD, something small, then I could remove the back seats (or maybe cut the back half down to the chassis) and bolt the generator to the vehicle. That would make it easy to transport. And being 4WD I could access anywhere on the property. As you might guess, it will never be registered. So, the subtleties of roadworthiness are...

A mate recently bought a 2003 Holden RA Rodeo 4x4 (4jht 3.0 motor and the Jr405e Jatco auto transmission) from his friend who was selling it cheap due to (you got it) some doubt over the transmission.
I had told my mate that I thought it was a good buy, sonowfeel I owe it to him to try and get it sorted.
I've owned a couple of diesel TFS series in the past ('90 model 2.5 and 96 model 2.8T) but both of those had manual gearboxes.
Hoping there might just be someone on this forum that I might...

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to see if anyone would be down to go on a weekend trip to O'Tools (east of Victoria) or any area around them for a weekend. Feel like after covid not many people have been getting their tyers and cars dirty enough.
Would be an awesome weekend, amazing camping spot for the cold nights and early mornings (makes it worth it with the multiple fire pits going on) but it also has some awesome tracks around the area to get the adrenalin bumping with fantastic views...

We’ve got a booking at flea creek campground down at Brindabella national park on the longweekend. Looking at entering down through Gentle Annie trail. We have a jayco Hawk outback ( lifted ) caravan one that packs up and winds down to be smaller and compact than a general size van.
With what I can tell it’s looks doable to get down to the campground with the van but just want to get some opinions before getting there.
What do people think about the trail down and up with a van?

Hey Friends. Am new to this forum and owning a Triton. Just bought a used 2017 mq Triton glx plus. I noticed the 4wd light has always been flashing since I purchased it. It is flashing in 2wd mode. If i engage 4wd HI or LO nothing happens just stays flashing in 2WD.
I tried looking for actuator by removing bash plates etc but for the life of me i cannot find any actuator under the front diff so im not sure if this model uses the vacuum/actuator system or it is electronic. I tried to watch...
