Alaska Photo Package?

Is the photo package worth it to pre-purchase for the Alaska cruise? My family of 4 adults is going on this cruise in the end of August this year and we aren’t really planning to do many character meetings, so we are wondering if we should just plan to buy a few individual photos. I have tried to google Disney Wonder Alaska photo package photos and can’t really see many, so I have no idea what to expect. 5 posts - 5 participants Read full topic ..read more

Trouble Viewing Port Excursions on Website

Is anyone else having a problem viewing Port Excursion descriptions on the DCL website? If I look at our destinations (St Maarten and Puerto Rico) I can only view a small number of excursions (4-7) and for St Maarten they are almost all accessible excursions. Sometimes by using the back arrow and refreshing I can get the site to show me a much larger list of excursions but when I click on those I only get the name and a few pictures, no description at all. It’s very frustrating since we can’t really attempt any planning of excursions. Our cruise isn’t until December but I don’t want to leave i ..read more

Laundry on DCL

Anyone done laundry on DCL? I think I read that they have laundry rooms and that you can charge the machines and detergent to your rooms. Are they decent? Do they take forever? Do you sit down there while your stuff is washing? We are going on an Alaskan cruise in a month and with all the travel and such, we will be gone for 10 days. With having to take jackets and sweatshirts and pants (as opposed to just shorts and tees), space will be at a premium in luggage, so I’m guessing we will need to do some laundry while on the boat and was wondering how easy or difficult it can be. 8 posts - 6 part ..read more

Swap Aulani for a cruise?

I booked a trip for Aulani for myself, my wife and my 10 year old son for May 2025. Been watching videos and getting info and getting excited for it. We were going to do a Disney cruise the next year or 2 after. But now we are wondering if we should swap the plans and do cruise 2025 and hawaii 2026/2027. My son would probably enjoy the cruise more at a younger age we are thinking. Plus a 2.5 hour flight is easier than a 10 hour flight. And he might enjoy Hawaii more when he’s a little older and can sit though the luau and experience the culture more etc. Any thoughts? Cruise at younger age and ..read more

I’m interested in joining a 7-night western European Disney Magic cruise with stops in Barcelona, Cartagena, Porto, La Coruña, Bilbao, and Dover. With only one day in Porto, I’m seeking recommendations for a cruise that offers a balanced itinerary between Spain and Portugal. Your insights and recommendations are greatly appreciated! 9 posts - 5 participants Read full topic ..read more

I have a cruise to the Bahamas on the Fantasy out of Port Canaveral currently booked (am flying out of New England) & am wondering if it would be better to cruise late January or early March. Weather is always a toss up for New England in the winter time. Which is a better time to cruise in regards to weather in Florida & Bahamas, less crowds on the ship, etc.? First Time Cruise: Concierge Question

My family is going on a cruise, we booked concierge. I know that includes getting to board the ship first, which I find to be one of the most important perks. My question is about my stay and transportation. I’m debating between the Hyatt MCO and Riviera. When they assign bus pick up times from Riviera, do they take into account if someone has the first boarding group, and would like to board right at 11? Or will I run the risk of getting picked up late and miss this perk? Any tips would be appreciate. Traveling with 3 kids all under 10. 7 posts - 6 participants Read full topic ..read more

The Baths- Tortola

We are going on our first Disney cruise at the beginning of June and have booked the port excursion going to The Baths in Tortola. However, I was only able to get the afternoon tour since the early time was sold out. I’ve been debating whether or not we should keep it or plan to do it ourselves so we can go in the morning. Will we be miserable from the heat going in the afternoon? Is it more crowded in the afternoon? 14 posts - 6 participants Read full topic ..read more
