Hello all, Owner of a 2002 540i. Looking to replace the bulbs for halos and foglights with LED. I have stock headlights. Ive seen tons of different E39s with aftermarket bulbs, but sometimes in my personal opinion they are too blue/white, almost too bright. Im wondering if anyone is aware of LED option that maintains more of the yellow/white light, but way more defined. I do not want any of the color changing cheap ones that set to yellow. Hi all, I've wanted an S85 powered BMW for a long time. My first car was an E60 530i, so the V10 has always been a bit of a hero car for me. Gotta love the S85 amirite? Recently had a misfire on cylinder 2 that turned out to be a valve spring. In the process of diagnosing it, I replaced all spark plugs, fuel injectors, and a handful of coils that were brittle and snapped. Spring replaced, all was well. 2 weeks ago I get a misfire on cylinder 6. Park the car, go inside, come back out and code gone. Driving later that day it throws the code again. Hi all, I have a 2006 M5 SMG that I had previously had a no start no gear issue (ended up being starter & pressure sensor and clutch valve solenoid) and now I’m onto the next issue, upon adaptation I get this message “Fault message [132] timeout during determination of valve coverage” at this point these parts are all under a year old (clutch, smg pump, PLCD,) any ideas as to why this code causes the adaptation to fail? I recently got a code P0368 or 2717 for Bank 1 exhaust camshaft position sensor so of course I bought a new one. Lo and behold after I reached the sensor I realized it wasn’t the sensor. The wiring harness clip broke and the connection was dangling. I am keeping the sensor but just spent $250 I didn’t really need. here are pictures of the broken clip: my guess is I will need a new clip but until then I needed to figure...
