Model: Ender-3 V2 Filament: PLA Speed Settings: 100% Slicer: Prusa Slicing Software Recently I took apart my Ender-3 V2 for maintenance and put it back together. I have this calibration Mesh I print in such a case to make sure everything works as intended. The print revealed a systematic, replicable distortion. What I tried: Adjust tension in the wheels on Z-Axis and X-Axis Adjust the Belt tension Exchange Filament I suppose it has something to do with the elements that run along the xy-plane. The .stl files and the gcode should be fine because I printed this same mesh with the same printer ea ..read more

I needed a digital sign holder for the work I do, so I designed this case. As you can see, you slide the digital sign into the grooves, and then in the back compartment is where you store the cable and the battery pack! Simply slap magnets on the back of the case if sticking to metal, and whala, you got a digital case holder. Questions? Ask away ..read more

Hi, I have Anet A8 Plus with Marlin 2 (after upgrade printed 5000 hours, no problem) and now it is doing something strange. Right now I am in 6th hour of 45 hours print and I do not know what to do. It started normally, but after 30 minutes I found out that 2 rows on the LCD display are displaying nonsense and now it looks like this. But it prints. Had someone experienced something similar ..read more

Things to check... 1. Retraction settings - have they changed/been reduced. 2. Axis screws/belts - any signs of becoming loose? 3. Has Ironing been added with odd settings in slicer? ... and looking at the picture again, is there anything hanging from the print head? Maybe an old bit of extruded filament that is scratching the surface? These are all generic things to check and not specific to your printer. Sometimes stuff happens where the cure is seemingly unrelated, I changed my hot end when my prints became poorer after trying loads of other things and the issue went away. Good luck ..read more

1. Re-level your print bed. If you have an auto level, run it before a print just to be sure and see if that fixes the issue. 2. Increase you initial layer height to 0.32, and check your initial extruder speed. Mine was set to 100% so I changed it to 50% and had a significant change in bed adhesion. That was because the initial layer speed was at 50% and it was trying to extrude 100%. I don't know if the math is right on what I did but hit helped me. 3. Increase your nozzle and bed temp until you get a good adhesion. I get best results with PLA I use (mostly Hatchbox but I've been using Creali ..read more

I am having a consistent issue with the base of my prints not remaining on the base. The raft or bottom of the print will come loose from the plate during printing. Usually, not the entire print but on one side or another. The result is bent builds or failed prints. I am printing with PLA. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause ..read more
