Another victim to Trudeauflation. I didn't even realize they had gone broke this year until I couldn't load up the web page today while trying to check discounted prices on some iPads.
This is actually surprising, because I had assumed, they would excel in hard times, sorta like one would expect most thrift shops to still generate revenue during a depression. Even if the poor can't purchase anymore, the higher-level earners will take their place and shop since everyone is hurting.
Looks...

For years now I can't figure out what's happening.
Looks like I ended up with 103.5 shares of BIPC (TSE listed) due to the aquisition of Inter-PipeLine a while back when I had 300 shares.
Interestingly enough the BIPC is paying me US dividends, but that's another story.
I simply want to figure out the math on how to do the conversion, and this should help me to understand my ACB of BIPC and anything I must fix up in my tax records. But even when asking various AI outlets, it seems to fail...

I still remember when I was a weeee little boy and saw the first Red Lobster come to my town. My dad (who was not a fan of sea-food) referred to it as a ****-gimmick restaraunt.
Obviously, he was wrong (for a while). However, I am not surprised by the recent downfall. It wasn't until maybe 10 years ago or so I first went in one as my girlfriend is a huge fan of lobsters and seemed to enjoy going at first. But then it quickly degraded as they never had the type of crabmeat anymore she...

Obvious manipulation/mania on this today. I wonder what it would cost to carry some out-of-the-money puts, say at $200 or something.

I stumbled across this stock a few months back . I was impressed with its numbers and fundamentals. I took a position and I am now up just short of 50%. It is up 21% today. PRL is a fintech which loans to people who have difficulty getting credit from regular banks. It provides loan approvals very quickly and is big with AI. It reported yesterday and its growth in revenues and earnings were extraordinarily positive. Curious if others are following this stock ..read more

Hi guys, I opened a position in open text today on the dip. It seemed to have a reasonable earnings report and the p/e on forward earnings seems reasonable around 18. Can anyone comment on why the seesaw in the stock is occurring post earnings? I didn't expect it to drop and had been following the company for a while so decided to capitalize and I'm viewing this as a longer term position. Thought it was a good stock for the Canadian tech industry with good acquisition and organic growth...
