I've been asked three times by my mum, grandma and a long term friend's mother "Are you still gay?". All three times I laughed it off and said words to the effect "Of course I'm still gay I can't choose to not be gay etc" The implication though is that it isn't normal or an illness is my take. "Are you still ill", "Do you still have a bad neck" etc. What are other peoples take on this? I believe it is low key homophobia. I don't go around asking people if they're still hetreosexual.
