I'm sure spray painting isn't the best option but I'm on a bit of a budget at the moment and already have some Krylon flat black lying around. Ntm, I may never even carry this one. Inherited these when my grandfather passed last year. He was 97. These were his dad's guns. Pretty sure they shoot .38 S&W, because he had an old box of ammo with them and the cartridges do fit the cylinder. No markings on guns except the serial number on bottom of grip and the other on trigger guard. Just trying to find out the model and date these were made. Any ideas ..read more

How do you typically handle private handgun sales like the ones here on Bayou Shooter? I had listed my handgun late last year, and got several offers. But they were very suspect. I’m always concerned about selling to someone who may have a criminal background, etc. and I don’t know about it. Because in a private sale, they are either usually 1.
