Staccato CS vs. Kimber KDS9c - Anyone own both?

I am struggling with which to go with, I have had the Kimber in-hand and I run it pretty well, I have not had (and can't seem to find) an opportunity to run a CS. Can anyone who owns both give me a practical comparison, mostly in size, shoot-ability, and carry-ability? I have small/medium hands so grip circumference is pretty important to me as well as year-round conceal-ability in the FL heat TIA ..read more

I made a trip over to Mike's Outdoors a short while ago and put in an order for a new SIG SAUER P320-M17 Ceremonial that was just released yesterday. Not sure of the actual price yet, but it is rumored to be somewhere around $1400-$1500. I did put down a sizeable deposit on mine. Not sure of the wait time to get it, but it will be worth it. Went to the range for the second time. I loaded mag with 15 rounds each, of various makers and bullet styles. In order of loading; CCI Standard Vel RNL, Federal High Velocity JHP (real old barn stored JHPs), Aguila Super XTRA RNL, Norma TAC-22 RNL, and Remington Gold Dot HPs). The pistol ran perfectly, with no issues at all. Sight is not as good as the CP-33, but adequate. KelTec now offers a RDS slide for $199 with the CT 1500 RDS. I decided to try it and it... KelTec CP-33 Review

I have had it to the range twice now. First trip was a bummer due to feeding issues caused by loading errors. The issue is well documented online. This trip I shot a 33 round mag loaded with the KelTec recommended mag loader and it ran flawlessly! I did have to hand load the first round directly in the chamber as is often reported in reviews, but after a few mags (not all 33 rounders LOL) the gun started chambering first round perfectly. I fired five round groups and got the sight... Read more ..read more

Really enjoying this. Thank you @maxpower220 . A little ammo picky but not bad. Just have to use 1,200+ fps. Designed for the G19 BUT it works on the G26 too. With tiny pinch point on the very end, not a problem though. Would be a non issue with an 1/8 inch longer guide. Zip trigger works, 25 rd mags. Factory 10 rounders are rock solid. Mags are a bit spendy though..... Added the X grip sleeve for a perfect fit with the G26, no mag issues with it. Rear sight is 100% adjustable... Read more ..read more

G19 with G-Flex trigger. 2x the firepower, 1/8 the weight or less? To me it just makes more sense than tying up +1000$ on a boat anchor semi. 50rd drum, 33 rd stick. 20, 17, 15, 10 rd mags. Most are locally available at a reasonable price and of course reliable. Works great 0 issues on the G19, I mean 0 out of the box. If you have too much 9mm this will solve it. Considered getting a smooth bore barrel to make it spread and hopefully tumble. Not really needled. Easy install, 3 pins, old... Read more ..read more

Last month, I acquired a P320 X-VTAC with a VIRIDIAN RFX-35 mounted on it from a forum member. A little over a week ago, I ordered a new ROMEO-X PRO in FDE for it. This afternoon, the ROMEO-X PRO came in and it is now mounted. The VIRIDIAN seems to be a decent enough optic, but I wanted a better optic and one that was direct mount with the ability to co-witness. The VIRIDIAN set too high for co-witnessing. Besides, I really like the ROMEO-X optics. I know have four of them on various SIGs... Read more ..read more

Rock Island Armory Rock Ultra CCO 9mm/.22TCM9R Review

This is a review of my Rock Island Rock Ultra CCO 1911 in 9mm/22TCM9R. This review will only address 9mm. This gun is a newer version of the same gun I got for my son back in June 2020. The two guns are virtual twins. Other than my grips being slightly darker, they are exactly the same. I have shot his gun and it is very accurate and feeds all types of 9mm ammo. I have been wanting one since then, but when covid hit, the well just dried up. It seems that during that time and until very... Read more ..read more
