Our cavalier KC is 9 months, she has chiari malformation, and another wobbling syndrome I forget the name of! She had an MRI/spinal tap in Jan. Shes on gabapentin 300mg a day, and currently on metacam. I noticed she was off on her back legs watched and waited for a month or so. Vet checked her out last week and said its her back/hips give her 10 days on metacam and if no improvement she will need an MRI referal, again! We went to a hoopers show on Saturday held at the agility venue where we've trained and competed for the past six years. Queued for our first class which was just hoops in Ring 3 and Shim did her usual pacing backwards and forwards in anticipation of getting on the start line, and she knows the entrances and exits there extremely well. So I adopted a dog just under a year ago who had been in the kennels for over a year apparently. However he already had a microchip and I'm yet to change the details on it. The rescue told me I could just phone up the main two companies and see of he's registered or not and change the details there and then. Just after we finished dinner, I let T out into the garden for his toilet, as I normally do. He did a pee, and came back in. I should add it's tipping it down right now. Just had shock this evening had my new year renewal policy come through and it’s going up over 20% from last year. Cannot believe it. They know can’t go anywhere else to get her insured and only other option would be no insurance which would not be good.
