I have rear differential fluid dripping off the driver side u bolts. It’s not coming from the seal or brake line. I’m guessing the axel tube is cracked or has rusted a hole through. I HAVE A 95 SILVERADO Z71 5.7 4X4 HAD TRANS REBUILT 3 YEARS AGO SHIFTED FINE. SAT FOR 2 YEARS THEN STARTED DRIVING IT AGAIN, EVERYTHING FINE STILL. I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 5.3 flex fuel. About 3-4 years ago I had a collapsed lifter. After research, I used the simple trick to release the collapsed lifter. Truck run fine after that until a month or so ago. It appeared to be the same issue. So once again I used the trick to release the lifter. Afterwards, the truck run fine while sitting idling. I've been reading a few threads regarding turn signal issues, but only one was close to the problem I'm having and there was no conclusion to that sad story. I have flashers but no turn signals. I have replaced the combination switch, the ignition switch and the flasher relay. All fuses and bulbs are good. The fuses in the engine compartment fuse box aren't getting power. 2017 5.3 Z71,start motor and it has 14 plus volts,45 seconds later it drops to 12.7 or so,checked with fluke meter at battery,no voltage output from alternator,changed alternator,it worked great,14 volts for 4 months,then it did it again,turned on all lights,windshield wipers,put in rev to activate camera,opened sunroof and hazards on,max load still no output from alternator,turn motor off,works great for 45 seconds,i thought the econemy mode deal would let it start charging with a load but... 2017 z71 charging problem ..read more

New member, old GM truck guy, just plain old guy.... I just got a 2015 Denali 2500HD 4X4, Carfax 1-owner, 120Kmi...gorgeous and strong truck. My problem: I'm older with arthritis and a very bad back (4 ops w/lots of stainless steel), and my new truck's steering is so hard it hurts to turn it but it seems like everything is functioning just fine.
