Fiancé arrived on 2/19/24. We got married and about to file I-485 and require the I-94.   I looked it up and the most recent I-94 was not found. With her former passport, I can see her I-94 from 2020 and from her first passport, I can see her I-94 from 2022. This was bizarre to us.     I called the CBP and they told me to email them with all the information required. It's been six weeks with no response. Hello everyone, Woke up to an RFE notification on our case status this morning.  Our timeline is:  I-797 May 16, Scheduled Biometrics May 24, RFE sent May 28.  I am a bit confused, as we have only received the 797 in the mail, which was Sat the 25th.  I had assumed we were at a standstill until biometrics are complete.  We did not submit for EAD or AP, just the 485 and 864.  I make 7x the poverty level cutoff, submitted last 3 years of tax transcripts, employment verification, etc.  Can anyone shine some light on this?  I know I have to wait to actually ..read more

My husband and I are currently filling out the I-485. Section 24.a asks if you have "ever been a nonimmigrant J visitor who was subject to a two-year foreign residence requirement."   My husband previously worked in the U.S. under a J1 visa back in 2016, and does not recall any 2-year requirement. Hey everyone! I am putting together my paper work for the Adjustment of status (K1 visa holder) and I haven't seen any specific form used for the BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT or something similar. I am not sure if I need to complete a new form besides (I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131, I-693). My fiance had his consular interview today and his K1 visa was approved!
