You can’t make this up people. Remember all that Tom Brady retirement drama during the Super Bowl last month, with wild speculation about him possibly hanging up his cleats after word leaked about retirement, with him first denying it, only for him to finally come out a week later and officially retire with lots of fanfare? Well forget about it, because just 40 days after his official retirement, the seven-time Super Bowl champ announced on his Twitter and Instagram that he’s got “unfinished business” and that he’s returning to the Buccaneers as QB for another season. “These past two months I ..read more

After a start that was deemed slow by many, the Bucs have hit their stride, with most of it coming from the play of future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady. The Bucs this week will be on the road, playing at the 1-6 New York Giants on Monday, November 2nd at 8:15pm on ESPN. Despite being 5-2, the Bucs still have plenty of things to work out as they get set for a massive game next week against the New Orleans Saints, a team that took down the Bucs in the first week of the season. Here’s a couple tidbits on Tampa Bay as they get set for Big Blue on Monday night in the national spotlight. * When Will A ..read more

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady made history in yesterday’s matchup against the Bears, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 600 career touchdown passes. The historic moment happened with just 10 seconds left in the first quarter, Brady throwing the ball to WR Mike Evans for a 9-yard touchdown. Ironically, Evans must not have known the significance of that pass, as he proceeded to throw the ball to a fan in the stands. Only afterwards did he find out, with Bucs coach Bruce Arians jokingly telling him that “You’re gonna have to go give that guy two jerseys to get that ball b ..read more

Tonight, Subway debuted it’s new “Bready” ad starring Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady, and it’s super bizarre for sure, and already generating a ton of buzz online (which is what Subway was probably hoping for). Airing last night during Thursday Night Football, we saw Tom Brady dressed in a suit and shaded mysteriously in black and white, pulling a hearty multigrain loaf of bread from an oversized perfume bottle, encrusted with a “B” for “bready.” He lifts the loaf to his face and inhales the aroma seductively. “Smells so good, you can almost taste it,” his voiceover booms. A narrator is qu ..read more

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came just about out of nowhere in 2020 to take home a title, winning Super Bowl LV in dominating fashion in their home stadium over the Chiefs. They will look to repeat in 2021, and oddly enough the team didn’t lose any players, bringing back each and every free agent on the roster. While there’s a number of great matchups on the Bucs slate, including divisional games vs Saints, the Panthers and Falcons, the team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to. Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to: 10/3 at New England – Oh boy, y ..read more

Between March and October, Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians went from squashing any potential Antonio Brown reunion — saying he was “not a fit here” — to drawing up plays for the controversial wideout. Arians and the Buccaneers have high personal expectations for Brown, which the coach says he has lived up to inside the building, Chris Bumbacaof USA Today reports. “He’s been a model citizen,” Arians said on Sirius XM NFL on Wednesday. “If and when he’s not, we’ll move on.” However, questions about his comportment popped up again this week when the Miami Herald reported he could have been charged ..read more

Needing help on the defensive line after the season-ending injury to Vita Vea, the Bucs have traded for Jets defensive tackle Steve McLendon, Rick Stroud and Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times report. McLendon, 34, played in the same 3-4 defensive scheme for Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles when he was the Jets head coach and also played under Bucs defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers in New York. The Bucs sent their sixth-round pick in 2022 to the Jets and received New York’s seventh-round selection in 2023 as part of the deal. In his fifth season with the Jets, McLendon was their ..read more
