RANDOLPH — Chief Anthony Marag reports that the Randolph Police Department arrested and charged a Watertown man in connection with a recent shooting incident outside a nightclub.
SHAMERE ROSS, AGE 33, OF WATERTOWN was arrested Wednesday morning, May 29, at 318 Warren St., in Watertown, following the execution of multiple search and arrest warrants by the Randolph Police Department Street Crimes and Detective Units, the Watertown Police Department and members of the NEMLEC SWAT Team and NEMLEC Regional Drug Task Force.

One Suspect in Custody, Search Ongoing for Second Suspect
RANDOLPH — Chief Anthony Marag reports that the Randolph Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery and is currently searching for a suspect in the area of Johnson Drive. Residents may notice a large police presence in the area while the search and investigation are ongoing.
On Monday, May 13 at approximately 1:20 p.m., Randolph Police responded to the area of Johnson Drive for a report of an armed robbery where two suspects allegedly robbed a person in a vehicle. No injuries were reported during the incident.

From 1924-1961, Patrick T. McDonnell served as Chief of the Randolph Police Department. Chief McDonnell was well-remembered for his pride in his police motorcycle and frequently riding it around Town.
The Town was additionally served by four Special Police Officers: William Mahoney, Henry J. Mann, Patrick Brady, and William F. Whitecross. They worked out of a police station located in the basement of 6 Main St., what is now Stetson Hall.
