Henry George Parkyns was born c 1867 in ? St James Westminster, although later census say Battersea. I have never found his birth registration.
He was the son of Henry George Parkyns (sen) and Ann Giblett. I can follow him on the 1871 and 1881 census but I cannot find him on the 1891 census.
On 26th Jan 1896 Henry married Ann Rebecca Witherington at St John's Church Battersea. Henry's occupation at marriage was a costermonger but later records say painter/labourer.
I know a bit about what...

William was the Vicar of Congham in Norfolk (actually I believe his correct title was Rector), he had previously been the Vicar for the workhouse in Kings Lynn. His wife was Frances nee Taylor, they married in Norwich in 1824 (I don't have a precise date, only the month of August). There were 10 children:
1. Frances Anne 1825 Congham -1898 Kings Lynn; married Robert Huxley Aldham
2. William Henry 1826 Congham - ?; married Sarah Jane Bellamy; only seem to have the 1881 UK census
3. John...

Maria Elizabeth died in Jan-Mar 1910
Thomas marries in Apr-Jun 1910 to one Fanny Lewis, in Lambeth, Surrey/London. I can't find him in 1911
He dies 24 Nov 1924 at 30 South Lambeth Road, Vauxhall, Surrey/London. Fanny handles his...

I am near the end of my family tree research (famous last words), but am having trouble tying down the last few.
The Faire/Fare/Fair family seem to have their roots in the Westby area, before spreading out throughout the Fylde in Lancashire. One of the troubles is the way the surname keeps changing, the other is a lack of baptisms for some of the Faire's.
Anyhow, Richard Faire (son of George Faire) was buried in Broughton on 26-01-1798 at St John the Baptist church, Broughton (source:...
By George (Faire that is)! Where did he come from ..read more
