Apple TV+ has opted not to continue with a second season of “Constellation,” its sci-fi psychological thriller series starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks, reports Deadline.  The news comes a month and a half after Constellation‘s eight-episode first season wrapped its run on March 27. Apple has filed for a patent (number US 20240152218 A1) for a “Mountable Tool Computer Input” that hints that the Touch Bar could be revived as a Mac laptop strip that supports the Apple Pencil. About the Touch Bar Apple added the Touch Bar to its laptops in 2016, specifically the 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pros. U.S. smartphone shipments declined 8% year-over-year (YoY) in quarter one (Q1) of 2024, the sixth consecutive quarter showing an annual decline, according to Counterpoint Research. Samsung’s market share grew to 31%, its highest Q1 share since Q1 2020. Apple’s market share remained flat at 52% in Q1 2024. Apple now has 52% of the U.S. smartphone market. That’s the same as in Q1 of 2023. Low-end shipments declined as carriers pushed for deeper 5G smartphone penetration, according to Counterpoint.
