Something weird started happening on my W11 PC. I went to use my PC and noticed that when I logged in, it acts like the login worked and the desktop starts to load up but then it goes right back to the login screen. This all happens within 1-2 seconds. I did this a couple of times but never actually got to the desktop. I did a hard shutdown by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Hello I ordered new batteries for my HP EliteBook 8770W with i7 3740QM CPU running WIN10 Pro. With these batteries my PC starts up at only 1GHz while it should run on 2,7GHz. This means it is extremely slow. I have the impression while the PC is starting it checks something and after a while it throttles the CPU down. From last few weeks I have noticed that my PC is never asleep. If I put it to sleep from the start->power menu it wakes up right away. The monitor does go to sleep.
