Changes and Growth of Artificial Intelligence Software One of the biggest changes in technology over the past two years has been Artificial Intelligence (AI). I personally have been using it for at least three years, so I feel like I was ahead of most wedding photographers.  At first, I was only use AI to help with writing. I was spending around $100 a month for this program, and it really was awesome and made writing easier and faster. After about a year, there were several of these programs for writing, and then artificial intelligence began to spread to editing software.  First, s ..read more

Kansas City Engagement Sessions at Casual Animal and Loose Park

One thing that I’ve consistently failed at is blogging about all of my different sessions. I have no problem writing helpful tip blogs, but for whatever reason, I can’t keep up with all the different shoots I do. Maybe it’s because there are way too many engagement sessions and weddings. Who knows, but I’ve decided to switch things up a little bit to maybe help things out. For this blog post, I am covering an entire trip I did to Kansas City about a month ago. I ended up doing 3 different shoots, so I figure I can handle one blog vs. three of them. This was quite the long day. I drove up to Ka ..read more

Little kids are always fun and cute, and weddings are a great time to throw in some extra kid cuteness. Ring bearers have been a part of weddings for as long as I can think of, so it’s something we are all used to seeing. Normally, they walk down with this really annoyed look on their faces as quickly as they can. If you’re looking to make your ring bearer special and have them actually enjoy it, we’ve got some great ring bearer ideas.  Ideas to Make the Ring Bearer Fun and Interesting From my experience, flower girls love their jobs much more than most ring bearers. I think that’s becaus ..read more

It’s gotten warm again, and things are turning green, which means it’s time to do a ton of engagement sessions. I actually have one here in a few hours and I’ll have about 8 in April. Anyway, I digress. Before all of that craziness starts, I wanted to share a session I did awhile back when things were still cold. Braylin and Clint wanted to do a session using the University of Arkansas campus, which actually works really well when most of the tress are dead. Buildings look good year round. It’s been a while since I had done anything around the stadium, so it was fun to see what all had changed ..read more

It’s a chance to celebrate the groom, entertain the guests, and show your support for the happy couple. Writing a great best man speech requires careful planning, personal touches, and confident delivery. Let’s see how you can make you ..read more

I met Denisse and Jordan through one of my engagement session giveaways, and I’m so glad I did. It’s so crazy to think that so many people I never would have met if I hadn’t done a contest. Anyway, we met up at Woodward Park in Tulsa for their engagement photos and they turned out amazing! We did this engagement shoot in February, so things were cold and dead. I had never been to Woodward Park before, but luckily for us, there were tons of areas with different evergreens. I love those things. If you shoot in the right way, no one will know that it’s the only green thing around. We pretty muc ..read more

Jenny and Harrison Wedding

Holy cow, I am so far behind on blogging about my wonderful couples and their weddings. Jenny and Harrison got married a while back (cough, cough, 2021) at the Stone Chapel and MattLane Farm, but I love them so much and they had so many fun things at the wedding, that I feel like I still need to share it with everyone. Personality and people always trump everything else for me, and these two were full of it. Harrison is the crazier of the two. He’s a big, former football player, but he’s always smiling and cracking jokes. We had plenty of things to talk about so there was never a dull momen ..read more
