Indie Untangled
by Lisa
2w ago
This year marked the third annual h+h americas trade show and it was the busiest and buzziest yet. For those of you who aren’t familiar, h+h is a wholesale show for the craft industry: yarn crafts like knitting, crochet and embroidery (more on the latter as a “yarn craft” in a bit), as well as fabric and thread crafts like quilting and sewing, though it was light on garment sewing brands. It’s a North American offshoot of h+h in Cologne, Germany, and fills a hole for the yarn industry after The National Needlearts Association (TNNA) canceled its summer trade show in 2020. From May 1-3, two hal ..read more

What to stash this week: Monarch magic

Megan of Megs & Co chose a photo of a chandelier-like cluster of monarch butterflies in a tree on the California coast as the inspiration for her Knitting Our National Parks colorway. Monarch Chandelier is stunning mix of orange, green, brown and gold, with just a hint of pink that makes for what I think of as a speckled neutral. The colorway is available to preorder from Indie Untangled for the next two weeks on two bases that are appropriately made in the USA. American Merino Dream, is a 100% U.S. Mercerized Merino Wool with a generous 450 yards per skein, and Ghost T ..read more
