Keya needed to first focus on taking care of her body and following her treatment plan, before she could safely carry a baby. Fast forward to completing treatment and being cleared medically, the couple tried to get pregnant. After a challenging year of trying and failing to conceive, the marriage also came to an end. However, Keya still very much wanted to be a mama. That being said, then the Covid-19 Pandemic hit and Keya had not met that perfect match as of yet. Sitti ..read more

In 2021, with the help of Dr. Frattarelli and the wonderful team at FIH, Landon and Kawena were thrilled to welcome their first son, Kūali’i. It was a difficult road to navigate, requiring two egg retrievals and four embryo transfers to achieve a pregnancy, but completely worth the wait! Two years later, they knew that they were ready to begin the process to complete their family with a sibling. Using a frozen PGS-tested embryo from their retrieval in 2019, they transferred one embryo. Unfortunately, it did not implant. The next month, they tried another embryo transfer. This was the “little e ..read more

Mom Lauren had been married for 8 years when their sweet Jasper joined their lives. Their journey to parenthood was very much similar to everything else they’ve done in life, with a plan. On a trip to the Pacific Northwest in 2021, they felt they had “arrived at the time they were ready for a baby”. Walking the beach one day, Lauren found a sand dollar that was perfectly intact. She told her husband, “If I find another one, we’re going to get ..read more
