Hiii friends, We have a new Challenge up at Time Out challenges and it is a theme challenge, where we are celebrating World Alphabet Day and want you to be inspired by the Magnetic alphabets. The challenge theme is: The inspiration for my card came from the days we had alphabets on the fridge and I had a similar crossword deisgn done with my son's picture to replace O. I have noticed, lately my Time out posts are around my son, including this! But that's what Alphabets take me to. My son's toddler years and when we both had great time in the kitchen with me challenging him with ..read more

Hello everyone, I am so glad you stopped by at my blog and I am thrilled to show off this gorgeous Rose that I made for my homework for Altenew's level 2 Educator's Certification Program for the class of Polychromatic. I know - This Monochromatic card may not match with what I just said. But in the Class the instructor, Nina, has a lesson of using soft pastel colors for a beautiful background - and I thought why not use her idea - and make it BOLD! I am sooo thrilled with what I could achieve! Can you guess what I have done here?  I chose one of my favourite Altenew Stamps - Ro ..read more

Hello friends, I was part of Samantha Pfirmmer's class for her final challenge at AECP and I really learned quite a lot during her class on Paper piecing. The stamps and dies she was using - I didn't have them so I used the ones that in my opinion will give similar result. Before the class started - we could choose the pattern paper etc that we wished to utilize for our cards and as I was going through my AECP 2 classes and had just finished watching the lessons by Therese Calvird on With a Twist - I chose elements that I learnt from her Cut it Oddly lesson 4 and lesson 5 Modern w ..read more

Hello everyone, I am so glad you stopped by at my blog! Continuing my submissions for my Level 2 Altenew Educator Certification Program for the class In the Mood for color. I was in the mood for Red, which is for for Love, Passion, Energy and what is better than Red Roses. For this card I chose the Rose stamps set from Craft Your life kit - Garden Rose. Although it comes with it's stencil to color with - I chose to color with Alcohol markers. Also, I wanted to added elegance to my card - with the Red roses, I thought some lace and pearls will do the magic to make it a Classic and Timel ..read more

Hi friends, I have been able to do quite a bit of my AECP homework this month, but unfortunately my son fell very sick and after him I did. They were terrible 2 weeks with both probably affected by the same virus that made our temperatures rise upto 103 and 104 F. Very tough days as a mother and then a patient! I have had no time to blog about the cards I made earlier.  We both are better now and I can finish the blog work. This is an assignment for the Impressive Heat embossing Class, based on lesson 2 and I had a really fun time making this. This technique looks great with a bit of ..read more
