Arms are indeed good sore! And I got some great ideas for flies for next year's season. (might try tying half a chicken on a gaff and calling it a Hipshot Fly). My host and good friend (Special Ed) grew up on that area of the Miramichi, and although he had encountered a striper once in his youth, they were never there in fishable (scoopable?) numbers before. My son and I were planning to go back up on friday, but a friend who is a striper guide up there says he's catching large spawned out females right now, which is a sign they're running back out to the deep water as we speak.
