I’ve not had a West Coast Pilsner before but just picked up some cans from a close by brewery. My understanding of the style is it is a clean easy drinking Pilsner but hopped like an IPA. A bit of a hybrid. A Pilsner glass seem too tame for a lager that’s accenting modern hops and strong flavors (beyond the Noble ones), and a tulip seems like it could lose the good crisp taste of the lager malts. Planning on going to MBCC 2025, which will be my first time. I need some tips! It will be my wife and I, who obviously both love craft beer. A few of the questions I had: Is one session enough, or should we get two? If two, should they be the same day or different days? Does each session have different beers available? What is a great neighborhood to stay in during the fest? Bar, brewery, and restaurant recommendations? Other activities to do in the area?
