Our "little" lady Nola is 5 months old now and it's been amazing watching her grow! She loves walks, learning new tricks, sunbathing from our bay window, and barking at the bunnies + deer in the neighborhood ?. The past two weeks though, I've noticed her slow down a bit. Our typical morning starts at 7. I'll bring her outside to get the morning zooms out and we'll play for about a half hour. After that, I'll do about 30 mins of training before I bring her in for her breakfast. Eating and... 5 month old female sleeping alot + laying down on walks ..read more

In search of a companion for my 2 year old female.

As the title states, I have a 2 year old female that I think would very much like a partner in crime. Ideally 2-4 years old. I am open to a male a or female. I do not breed or show. I have searched up and down the west coast and the reputable breeders I have contacted just don't have any dogs in that age range right now. We have property here in WA state and work remote 90% of the time. We have experience with breed as this will be our 5th Doberman. Willing to travel if need be to meet the... Half Posts without a Bridge?

Hi all! I was wondering if you can use the half post backer rod method without using a bridge? My girl is 17 weeks and her ears have been standing well for up to 12 hours, I repost before any falling or weakness and they haven’t fallen at all. Her tips are still wiggly and she’s not even 5 months so I know I have a ways to go, but her bases seem really solid. I wanted to try the half post method as it seems a bit more tolerable but I hate using a bridge and she hasn’t needed one since her... Half Posts without a Bridge ..read more

Haven't used my real camera in a while, but thought I'd give it a whirl to get some photos of Elle. I like that the Beardtongue are in the top of the photo, but I don't like the white fence. I'd rather have more greenery. This one I wish there were more flowers up top. I want to play around and get more photos, but I don't want my wildflowers smashed either. I've also got so much plastic fencing up protecting... Meadow Photoshoot - Elle ..read more

Pending AKC approval, Tia earned her fit dog bronze title today in Walkersville, MD while also running FastCAT at the Colonial Schipperke Club. We had to do a 1 mile group walk and she already has a BCAT title. The walk and a prior fit related title add up to 5 points. She also had her fastest time with her second run ..read more

Puppy introduction!

Hello! I’ve written already with a few questions but I thought I’d introduce my new pup! We got a boy Doberman pup on May 15th, we picked him up in Cherry Valley, CA from a Breeder at 8 weeks old. We were searching for months and decided it was time. My husband and I recently got married in Lucca Italy, hence our new pup is named Lucca. Ironically he was born the day after we got married and the day before my own birthday so it seemed meant to be. He was a little guy only 10 pounds at 8... Puppy introduction ..read more
