Hi all,
I just purchased a 2021 f150 3.0 PS Screw long bed from Carmax. It was a fleet vehicle and probably saw some hard times, but had records of all the oil changes and only had 34k miles. Long story short I drove it for a test drive with no problems. Drove it home and now it will occasionally not start. It will just turn over for around 10 seconds then stop when I try to start it. There's no check engine light or any indication that anything is wrong aside from it not starting. Any ideas ..read more

As the title states we seem to have an oil leak somewhere. I went to change the oil on the truck roughly two weeks ago and took a look at everything I could underneath and came up on a leak of some sort. Took it to the dealership for a different issue as the Slip Yoke Spline re-grease did not work and looking to replace the driveshaft now, but anyway with this problem, they had it in the bay for 3 Days, drove roughly 8 mile, and cant find out where its coming from. The dealer put dye in...

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and want to start off by saying that I really appreciate all the thoughtful post's people are putting up here. I'm in the market to buy an F150 and stumbling onto the various threads about maintenance and overall reliability has swayed me towards purchasing a 3.0L instead of the 3.5L ecoboost, which is the truck my brother has and loves.
About me: currently not a truck owner, but in the market to be able to haul rafting gear and a slide-in camper. I'm leaning...

Just got a P2470 fault code - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 4. Has anyone else experienced this? I have 46k miles on the vehicle. Unfortunately, this is probably not a covered part under the emissions warranty. Thanks ..read more

I was able to successfully change the rear belt for the high pressure fuel pump. It was not a simple task as it is tight space with limited to no visibility. I used a Depstech endoscope to be able to see behind the engine and perform the work. AllDataDIY has the step by step procedure (well worth the $20 for a one month subscription). However, they have steps to remove the crossover pipe which isn't needed. All the work can be done over the rear/top of the engine. You do need to have...

A little back story, 2018 lariat PS I bought with about 95k miles on it. Right after I bought it, I took it to Ford dealer had them do a oil change and fuel filters. About 100k miles noticed a ticking at idle at stop lights and stuff.. I did my own oil change at 102k miles with T6 5w-40 after researching on here.
I’ve been searching for a video of PS just idling but haven’t been able to find it to see if maybe it’s normal(this is my fist 3.0l diesel)
Any idea or if ya’ll could point me in...
