Hi all, I just purchased a 2021 f150 3.0 PS Screw long bed from Carmax. It was a fleet vehicle and probably saw some hard times, but had records of all the oil changes and only had 34k miles. Long story short I drove it for a test drive with no problems. Drove it home and now it will occasionally not start. It will just turn over for around 10 seconds then stop when I try to start it. As the title states we seem to have an oil leak somewhere. I went to change the oil on the truck roughly two weeks ago and took a look at everything I could underneath and came up on a leak of some sort. Took it to the dealership for a different issue as the Slip Yoke Spline re-grease did not work and looking to replace the driveshaft now, but anyway with this problem, they had it in the bay for 3 Days, drove roughly 8 mile, and cant find out where its coming from. I was able to successfully change the rear belt for the high pressure fuel pump. It was not a simple task as it is tight space with limited to no visibility. I used a Depstech endoscope to be able to see behind the engine and perform the work. AllDataDIY has the step by step procedure (well worth the $20 for a one month subscription). A little back story, 2018 lariat PS I bought with about 95k miles on it. Right after I bought it, I took it to Ford dealer had them do a oil change and fuel filters. About 100k miles noticed a ticking at idle at stop lights and stuff.. I did my own oil change at 102k miles with T6 5w-40 after researching on here.
