Hi Folks. Have a 2011 SR5 4Runner. The drivers side heat warmer won’t turn off…. 1. Checked the switch - working fine. With switch completely detached- warmer stays on. 2. Pulled the fuse. Just purchased a 2024 4Runner V6 4.0 2wd automatic. I have driven a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner Off Road V6 4.0 for 17 years. I tried once to tow a relatively light weight travel trailer (2,700lbs. dry weight) with my wife and 2 dogs. (100lb. German Shepherd and a little 30lb. dog) My wife is on the petite side, I make up for that at 235lbs. I found the experience of towing with the 06 Tacoma to NOT be to my liking. Hi everyone, I'm a new user here, and new 4Runner owner. I'm looking for some audio device recommendations for my non-navigation stock stereo. I am trying to avoid the hassle of trying to replace the whole stereo for clean BT connectivity. I've tried the FM transmitter route and don't like the static and having to change stations when driving to other places. We bought a used 2014 Runner Limited from the dealership and it's got this long chrome trim piece thats right under the window of the passenger front door which is warped. It will not stay clipped in. Keeps popping up. The other 3 trims like it going around the car are fine. this may have been a previous owner who got a shirt or something stuck on it and pulled it up permanently warping it. Hey, in process of putting my 98 2.7l 2WD 4runner back on the road. I get a brake shudder when braking over like 45MPH. Replaced and had trust worthy mechanic (but not a Toyota specialist) look at it and it still does it before and after all the stuff I am about to list was done. New master cylinder, new rotors, pads, new drums and shoes, new tires, new steering rack bushings, and alignment. It does it less than before I replaced all these items.
