Yeah I get what your saying, obviously there’s no way I can say for sure, my point is that clarity comes from the higher frequencies, your doing just fine with those wrs figures which are great, your not gonna improve on that, one thing is only you would know what you can hear no one else can, as for the feedback that could be improved with molds, so quite possibly your limiting the amount of gain to stop this with open domes not kicking off “all” the time, this could be why women and kids are harder to understand, as they are usually in the higher frequencies. I have similar unequal loss and just picked up some Jabra’s yesterday from Costco. I also had them make a skeleton mold for my right ear. I have the Resound One and the sound is really similar but better all around, especially in a restaurant setting. I agree with OP that im now catching about 85-90% comprehension in a nosey setting. Occlusion is what I would be looking at. If you are using molds, there are things that can be adjusted to the mold like increasing the vent size. If you are not using molds, then you will need a dome with a vent or larger vent. Your HCP can also adjust the gain of the hearing aid ..read more
