The song stuck in my head was on rotation on the radio and probably MTV around 2007-2009 (2010 tops), alongside "All Around Me" by Flyleaf. The song I'm thinking of is more upbeat 2000s rock, at least instrumentally, but the female vocalist sounds the same.
