The song stuck in my head was on rotation on the radio and probably MTV around 2007-2009 (2010 tops), alongside "All Around Me" by Flyleaf. The song I'm thinking of is more upbeat 2000s rock, at least instrumentally, but the female vocalist sounds the same. I looked through Flyleaf's singles and I can't find the song, could it be it another band? I can't really describe what I remember, except the vocalist sounds exactly the same. Holy smokes, this whole album is a hard rocker! Is it ground breaking, no, but it rips it up for 1972. Honestly, I don’t get the “prog” connection, but the music compositions are more thought out, and longer, than other hard rock bands of that time period.

Thought I'd start a discussion, which could prove testing and is totally subjective. But here I've cast aside my favourite band or cult rock tune..... and been entirely honest with myself - in most instances Dylan, Lennon & McCartney, Jagger & Richards, Goffin & King, David & Bacharach will be prevalent.
