This scheme exists to allow legally resident non-EEA third level graduates to remain in Ireland for the purpose of seeking employment and applying for a work permit. During the period of permission under the Irish Third Level Graduate Programme a student can work full time (up to 40hrs per week). Students must hold a current Stamp 2 s ..read more

Hi all, My partner has received the ILR on 31st May based on SVW and we are now preparing for dependants applications. Since our current permission is based on SWV visa of my partner, I am using SET (O) application. There is a question under section "The person you are joining or accompanying" for BRP number. Could some one please confirm if I need provide the BRP number of Skilled Worker Visa or ILR? Also under the documentation required, there is no mention of cohabitation proofs. Is this normal or Am I using the wrong application type? I've chosen SET (O) and category "Skilled Worker, Tie ..read more

British Citizenship • British passport application - strange questions from UK Passport Office:

Hi all, I am a naturalised British citizen who has 6 -yo child born outside the UK. Both myself, my girlfriend (who is EU citizen and not British) and the child has been living in the UK (they since 2020). Both her (and consequently our child?) has pre-settled status in the UK. Child entered/enters the UK on his EU passport. Recently I applied online for the first UK passport for him to the UK Passport Office as he qualifies for automatic citizenship by descent from a Brit who obtained his citizenship by means other than descent (i.e. by my naturalisation). As part of the application I have ..read more

Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. You made it sound quite simple, so I'm already stressing out less about it. Just regarding the proof of British citizenship, would the first page of his British passport be enough? If he naturalised, you need to submit his naturalisation certificate, else biometrics page of his passport will be enough And my passport used to get stamped, but 2 years ago I got registered traveller status in the UK, so I stopped being stamped back in the UK. Could I then perhaps submit a spreadsheet with the dates of my leisure travels? They are all short trips and I'd ..read more

Hi everyone, I’m quite worried now as I think I’ve done something wrong with my application. My 5 years anniversary is on the 12/07/2024. Therefore, my 5yr - 28 days is on the 14/06/2024. I applied yesterday online (01/06/2024), paid for my appointments and uploaded the documents. My biometrics appointment though is on the 22/06/2024. It seems according to some posts that my application might be refused as I submitted the documents too early, even though the biometrics is within the 5 years - 28 days. Shall I withdraw my application ASAP? Thank you! Hi all, sorry to spam here, but I di ..read more
