BERGTON VA:  (Rocktown Now) – Fire crews throughout the valley are battling several outdoor fires. Rockingham County fire and rescue crews are battling a brush fire in the Bergton area. The fire is concentrated in the Brushy Run and Bergton Road areas. Chief Jeremy Holloway reports the fire has consumed 25 acres so  and is possibly threatening so far and he pleads with folks to be careful on this Red Flag Warning Day.
