CALEXICO — Following City Manager Esperanza Colio Warren being placed on paid administrative leave by the Calexico City Council on June 7, her performance was the topic of another closed session meeting on Wednesday, June 12.  No reportable action was taken out of that discussion Wednesday night, confirmed Calexico Mayor Camilo Garica. IMPERIAL COUNTY — A local mosquito pool has tested positive for West Nile Virus, the Imperial County Public Health Department announced Friday, June 14. The mosquito pool was identified in the Winterhaven area, with the sample collected on June 11 and results confirmed June 14.
