i have recently started with a new company, and noticed I have a part timer who is being paid one reasonable hour on top of their base hours. as per a private agreement. Hi, I recently recruited for a position, and we found an excellent (external) applicant, however he did not have all of the qualifications listed in the advertisement. The qualification in question was for a registered builder, but the position is providing WHS advice to construction contractors, so building registration is not a requirement. HR advised to put the building qualification in there, as we may be able to get a higher caliber candidate. Now HR are advising that we need to re-advertise for the position with the building registration omitted, as we can't employ someone who did not ..read more

Recently we received an email regarding the amount of super we will paying for September and payment date to be provided. Hello Fellow HR Professionals, Your input, advice on this matter is welcomed. In summary, I have been seven years employed as an Exec Assistant for a QUANGO while also studying HR/Management with an agreement/understanding that my role would be expanded within the organisation at the completion of my studies (imminent.) I was offered this new position (keeping it light on the details to avoid identifying myself) over the 'phone just recently - precisely the role that had been discussed and agreed on - and I said I was interested in the role. This was at the end of the week and by Monday anot ..read more
