BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) -- In the late 1990's and early 2000's, the stimulant methamphetamine was new to southern West Virginia, and dealers were making it in residential neighborhoods from commonly used cold medicines. The so-called labs presented an explosion risk and required professional clean-up.
