The new Ranger BunViolet is Homura Sakito a hitman who has been away from his homeworld of Earth for the last ten years, adventuring with his partner robot Bun Diesel. The future for the Power Rangers brand has been revealed today as Hasbro announced that rival toy company Playmates Toys (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Voltron) has acquired the toy license for the brand from Hasbro. As part of the deal, Playmates Toys acquires the global (excluding Asia) rights to make Power Rangers action figures, vehicles, roleplay toys, and plush items.
