After a week filled with three performances, the CNFR will host Friday night’s performance at 7 p.m. The night will highlight Americana dress theme. CASPER, Wyo. — David Street Station management reported a smashed mirror in the women’s restroom on Friday. “We kindly ask our community to please respect our facility, as every time we have to fix something like this, it takes away from our funding that is needed to provide free events for all,” the station’s social media post read. New Alcova Resort expected to open this summer

CASPER, Wyo. — Construction on the new Alcova Resort Marina is underway, and one owner says they are aiming to be open this summer. “They felt the urgency and wanted to get it done for the community,” said co-owner Russ Mason, who was spending Tuesday, like most days, working on the site. The marina burned to the ground on the Fourth of July 2023. Evansville motel evacuated due to fire Friday afternoon

CASPER, Wyo. — Firefighters extinguished a fire in the attic above the pool at the Super 8 in Evansville on Friday afternoon. Evansville Police Chief Mike Thompson confirmed on the scene that there were no injures or medical transports. Thompson said the call came in at 12:22 p.m. on Friday, June 14. The fire prompted an evacuation of both levels of the motel. Thompson said the fire was located in the attic above the pool area and extinguished. The cause is under investigation. MILLS, Wyo. — When it meets in regular session June 25, the Mills City Council is expected to adopt a general fund revenue budget of about $5.67 million for the fiscal year starting July 1. General fund expenditures are estimated a little higher at $5.71 million. By comparison, a year ago the Mills City Council approved a $5.8 million general fund budget.
