TEMPLE, Texas (FOX 44) - The City of Temple continues to update the community on actions to take amid tornado cleanup. All city facilities reopened on Tuesday, May 28, for regular hours of operation. Splash pads will reopen on Wednesday, May 29. The City of Temple is encouraging all individuals in Bell County affected by the May 22 tornadoes to report their damages online on the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT). Temple, TX (FOX 44) -- The severe storms hit hard on many businesses in Downtown Temple. Business owners are in the clean up process now having to determine how they're going to move forward. Pignetti's in Temple is having to start from scratch for half of their building. FOX44 received video of the damage at Pignetti's showing broken glass, flooded floors, and scattered debris. Waco, TX (FOX 44) -- Waco and Temple are raising the alarm to not spark fireworks in their city limits. Temple's Deputy Fire Marshall, Jason Reilly, says they're illegal due to fire risk.
