Triebold Paleontology and Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center (RMDRC) unveiled the 3D-printed skull of the Terataphoneus curriei in Woodland Park on Wednesday. The team will practice two times Wednesday, weather permitting, to prepare for the flyover and air show that will happen at the end of the ceremony. A Southwest Airlines flight traveling from Denver to Tampa, Florida had to make an emergency landing in Colorado Springs Monday. The flight didn't make it very far, leaving Denver at 7:13 p.m. Monday and landing in Colorado Springs at 8:22 p.m., according to FlightAware. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Three people are dead, including a Good Samaritan, after a head-on collision involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs Sunday morning. Two Rocky Mountain goat kids are the newest residents at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Their mom, Lena, gave birth to her first set of twins Sunday. The twins were both on their hooves, taking their first steps within minutes, according to the zoo. Zoo staff said both kids seem to be very adventurous. The Sunset Amphitheater going up in north Colorado Springs will soon have a different name. Notes Live, the company building the outdoor music venue, said a national company has bought the naming rights. The venue, which was first proposed in September of 2022, received pushback from neighbors in the Northgate neighborhood.
