In all the world there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world there is no love for you like mine.

Oh Valentine’s Day, the most polarizing of holidays. I think you have more luck combining Christmas and Hanukkah than to get a popular consensus on this one. But let’s decide to have fun with it anyways, and celebrate what we love about each Enneagram type.
To me, Valentine’s Day is not the day of love, but of appreciation. A long time ago, I decided that this holiday would be a chance to appreciate and acknowledge all of the spe ..read more

It’s not stress that kills us, it’s our reaction to it.
— Hans Selye, endocrinologist
The thing I fell in love with the most when first encountering the Enneagram was its dynamic nature. You are not a diagnosis or a pre-packaged, stand-alone type. As humans, we are constantly changing, adapting, evolving, and reacting to the world around us. This doesn’t mean that your core type changes, but the Enneagram structure addresses our fluid behavior as humans.

The Year of COVID19.
What a time to be alive, am I right?
As an extroverted individual who values connection over just about anything else, I have not been a fan of the health pandemic so far. But that’s when I decided to go within and find out the source of why I was feeling triggered and begin to understand why my friends and family were actin ..read more

Quiet the mind, and the soul will speak.
What is meditation?
I don’t know about you, but lately I’ve been feeling pulled to reflect more than usual. I’ve spent more time doing virtual yoga sessions, processing thoughts and emotions in my journal, and quieting my mind. I think it’s important to always have a spiritual practice, but especially now.
I wanted to write this blog post as a foundational prompt for each Enneagram type to use this season of isolation as a way to go inward and work through some of the core hangups that we often dismiss on a day-to-day basis.
Meditation isn’t about ch ..read more

We don’t realize that somewhere within us all, there does exist a supreme self who is eternally at peace.
— Elizabeth Gilbert, Author
Before we continue this series, just a quick reminder about working with wing theory.
First, remember that discovering your wing is not the same as discovering your type. Wings add depth and dimension, showing how each type is a spectrum of behavior that stems from the same core motivation (kind of like a color wheel).
It’s also important to note that there are several camps of thought on how wings develop. Some say you stay with a wing your whole life, while ..read more
